The Prince Edward Island Darts Association Inc has a 6 member executive that wants to do the work for you! We all want to see darts on PEI thrive, and together be a strong community to represent our Island. Transparency is the key word when it comes to this group, and we want to ensure that our members are informed of all information that comes to us; which includes membership information, financial reports and general operations.

As we approach the Red Rock Open on October 20-22, the timing is perfect to talk about PEIDA events that will have a regular fixture in the darts calendar of activities on the island. As you all know now, the Red Rock Open will be the first open tournament on PEI since 2018. The members of the…

PEI team members and support volunteers who participated in the 2023 Adult National Dart Championships agreed this year’s event had a ‘different feel’ than previous years. This difference was largely due to increased camaraderie and team bonding. A new venue (St. Hyacinth, Quebec) and the use of…

The 2023 National Championships for both Youth and Adults have now come to a close.  This year saw PEI send a youth team to Nationals and we as an Executive Board, and personally, as an Islander, it was with great pride that our province was represented at that level.  Our Youth Director, Tracy…

Here we are in 2023.  Covid didn't stop our wheels from turning completely.  Here's what we've done since my last update: We have our first full team going to St Hyacinthe Quebec in June to represent PEI at National competitions.   This week our first youth team made the journey but, I'll let our…

It's been my privilege to be elected Youth Director of PEI.   As this is my first year coaching the youth, mistakes will be made, things will be missed, but I'm in for the long haul and I'm willing to do what it takes to achieve success, learn from my mistakes and build a Youth Club on PEI to be…

I would like to welcome everyone to another great season of darts on PEI.  As I am now half-way through my 2nd elected term as President of PEIDA, I would be remised if I did not take the opportunity here today, on record, to recognize and give thanks to the Membership.  I would like to recognize…

As the newly elected Vice President of Operations, I am very happy to have the chance of bringing back darts events on the island. Sadly because of Covid, we had to skip the NDFC nationals in 2020 and 2021, but hopefully for 2022, Covid will give us a well-deserved break and allow Team PEI to…

Well, we're getting geared up to start our inaugural season as an association!  So exciting!  Alot has happened since our establishment.   Let me share some of the highlights: We partnered with True North Christian Church for our big recycling fundraiser at CBMF.  We gained $3333.33 for PEIDA…

In October of 2018, with the majority support of dart players in PEI, the group of individuals in front of you today set out to build a new foundation for the sport of darts on PEI.  The dissolution of the previous organization left an obvious void in our sport and I am happy today to sit before…

We have a total of 28 members. Almost reached our goal of 30....hopefully next season. Actually that is a pretty good number considering the length of time that we had. From the notification of acceptance to the cut off date of end of March, so....3-4 weeks, not that long. A great number…
