Scoring Update in January 26, 2025 Qualifier

During the January 26 Qualifiers held at the Emerald Community Center, a technical issue came up in the Men’s second round robin in a match between Bill Durant and Corey LeFort. During the first leg of their match, the final score of the leg was entered under the wrong name, eventually giving the leg to Bill when in fact it should have been Corey’s leg. As soon as they noticed the situation, they advised me and I went over to look at their tablet. They were about to start the third leg of the match and the score should have been 2-0 for Corey but it was showing 1-1.

Discussion for 2025 Provincial Qualifiers

With the 2024 National Championships now behind us, it's time to look ahead to 2025. Although it has been a month since the nationals, we have a lot to do to get ready for our next set of provincial qualifiers.

You have spoken, and we have listened. After our last set of qualifiers, we realized not everyone is happy with the current format. However, we have received very few suggestions for improvement. So, we are reaching out to our members for ideas on how to make our qualifiers better.

Red Rock Open in Charlottetown, PEI; The players spoke - We listened!

Following the first edition of the Red Rock Open in October 2023, we asked the participating players for their feedback on the event in order to provide a better experience for future editions. As an association, we were aware of issues that came up during the event, but we wanted the players’ input in order to make sure we didn’t miss anything and also to see if there were any areas where we could improve.

And we listened to the players’ feedback!

Fundraising Success

Over the past four months, the PEI Darts Association has achieved remarkable success in their fundraising efforts, amassing a total of $6,434 to support their team. This significant sum was the result of various events and activities organized by the association, which included a community yard sale, the Cavendish Farms french fry truck, fundraising dart tournaments, and lotteries. The dedication and hard work of the association members, along with the generous support from the community, played a pivotal role in reaching this impressive total.
