Fundraising Success

Over the past four months, the PEI Darts Association has achieved remarkable success in their fundraising efforts, amassing a total of $6,434 to support their team. This significant sum was the result of various events and activities organized by the association, which included a community yard sale, the Cavendish Farms french fry truck, fundraising dart tournaments, and lotteries. The dedication and hard work of the association members, along with the generous support from the community, played a pivotal role in reaching this impressive total. Each event was carefully planned and executed to maximize participation and contributions, showcasing the community’s strong support for local sports.

The funds raised will be instrumental in helping our team cover the expenses associated with the national competitions, including travel, accommodation and uniforms. This financial support not only alleviates the burden on individual team members but also ensures that the team can compete at their best without financial stress. The association's ability to raise such a substantial amount highlights their organizational skills and the community's enthusiasm for supporting local athletes. The successful fundraising efforts have also boosted the morale of the team, providing them with a sense of pride and confidence as they prepare for upcoming competitions.

Moreover, our fundraising campaign has strengthened community ties and increased awareness of the sport of darts in Prince Edward Island.
